Capital of south, Marrakech is a bewitching
town with its magnificent architecture,its busy souks and its immense palmeraies. It has been founded in the 11 century by the Saharan tribes and it would always remain a mysterious gateway to the Maghreb and Africa . At the heart of the town is found the Jamaâ el fna square; a gigantic space which takes all interests by the day fall: it is then rapidly transformed to an extraordinary spot of encounter where are mingled accrobats, dancers, snake charmers or countless itinerant kitchens to offer brochettes,snails or muttons heads .In proximity ,is found the famous Koutoubia minaret dating from 1158 and recently restored . In the medina ; a part from the souks, you would visit several monuments such as the Medersa, the Ben Youssef mosque, the Saâdiens tombs, the Bahia palace... |

The Medina. Without speaking about the traditional housings of all types, the medina has about 2300 riads; most of them are occupied by Moroccan families and some of them are adjusted to restaurants ,to general stores or to home guests .
